Alex originally became an attorney in 1997, in Russia, where he also obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon arriving to USA in 1998, Alex first relied on his engineering background and worked in the IT field, while eventually starting to invest in the real estate. Dealing with property management and financing caused Alex to switch fields and to apply himself to the real estate field, on full time basis. He became a licensed real estate agent and contractor in 2005.

Being a real estate manager inevitably led Alex to participate in various dispute resolution venues: in the court, before the City and State's various boards and departments, also at arbitration and mediation levels. Alex soon felt a need to dust off his diploma and to upgrade it with the US legal education. He then graduated with the Master's degree in legal studies from the Golden Gate University, and in 2011 opened his own practice, now passing to his clients what he learned in the school and on the street.

• California Bar Certified Specialist, Appellate Law
• Admitted to practice before all California districts of the Federal Court
• Licensed California Broker (since 2019, prior to that as a salesperson since 2005)
• 2009 "CALI award" for the "Property Law" studies
